Roaming Towards Myself

Standing on top of Mt Everest. Because to get there I’d have had to spend months training, spend a small fortune on guides, Sherpas and gear, then spend over 7 days hiking uphill to base camp before climbing into the death zone pretending to be confident while internally convinced I’m about to slide off the mountain at any moment. My preferred way to see Mt Everest and the Himalayas is flying past them from the comfort of my window seat, which is exactly how I’ve already done it.
